The mission of Hale Naʻau Pono is to support resilient communities by providing behavioral health, preventative and community-based services to children, adults, and families with integrity, aloha, and cultural awareness.

 PROGRAMS

Our Adult Programs* include:

1. 8- to 16- & 24-Hour Group Homes - Hale Kukunaokalā

Providing supportive housing across 15 locations on O`ahu. This service is funded by the DOH Adult Mental Health Division.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, please have your case manager contact us at 696-4212. Please note that referrals must be sent from your case management agency through AMHDʻs SharePoint site.

2. Case Management / Outpatient Therapy - Mālama Ola

This services is funded through `Ohana CCS Health Plans.  If you need help because of problems with mental illness, please Call Jessica Banglos at 696-4213 for more information.

 Our Children's Programs* include:

1. Transitional Family Homes Oʻahu Leeward Coast and East Hawaiʻi

Operating on Oʻahu's Leeward Coast and East Hawaiʻi, Family Guidance Center Care Coordinators may call (808) 696-9498 or fax referrals to (808) 696-9403.  This service is funded by DOH Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division.

East Hawai`i referrals may be faxed to (808) 238-0925

2. Intensive In-Home Services and Intensive Independent Living Services Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi Island

Operating on Oʻahu's Leeward Coast and East Hawaiʻi, Family Guidance Center Care Coordinators may call 696-9498 or fax referrals to 696-3716.  This service is funded by DOH Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division.

Our Family Services include:

1.  Ka Wahi Kaiāulu- Waiʻanae Neighborhood Place

If you are having problems with family members or making ends meet and you don't know where to find help, we have answers.  Call (808) 696-4598 or (808) 696-1067 for information. This service is funded by Blueprint For Change.

We provide referral services, case management and strengthening services to individuals and families in need of financial, educational, social, housing and medical resources.

During the COVID Pandemic, our Donation Closet is open by appointment only.

2. ʻOhana Kākoʻo Resource Center

Providing meeting and conference room spaces for activities, events, trainings, fund raisers, and meetings on the Wai`anae Coast.  We have a variety of rooms and ample parking available for groups from 2 to 50.  Please call 696-4598 for availability and cost.

3. SNAP Outreach

If you want to see if you qualify for SNAP benefits (food stamps) please call us at (808) 696-4598.  Rules have changed and you may now be entitled to benefits. This service is funded by the the Department of Human Services.
